March 2012 data revealed property prices are on the decline in the Adelaide Metro region, making it more affordable for first home buyers to get into the market. The Adelaide metro region as a whole fell 7.2% from a median house price of $410,000 to $380,500. Here’s a summary of the biggest and smallest gains. Top 10 performing Adelaide metro suburbs with the greatest positive change in median value over the last 12 months were: Goodwood Northgate West Beach Northfield Largs North Somerton Park Gulfview Heights Noarlunga Downs North Haven Magill Goodwood’s median house price rose 37% to $844,000 and Northgate rose 22% to $575,000.
